This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.

DISCUSSION...
Ongoing rain showers with isolated thunderstorms will continue this
morning, mainly across eastern Oklahoma and west-central
Arkansas. Organized severe weather is not anticipated. A cold
front will push through the area this afternoon and into this
evening. Additional showers and isolated thunderstorms will be
possible along the cold front through this evening. Northerly
winds will increase and become gusty behind the cold front into
tonight.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds return Saturday night and become gusty Sunday
ahead of another low pressure system and associated cold front
forecast to move through Monday. Shower and thunderstorm chances
become possible during the day Sunday and increase in coverage
Sunday night into Monday as the low pressure and cold front move
through. Locally heavy rainfall is possible with the stronger
storms Sunday night into Monday.
