...A FLOOD WARNING FOR RAIN AND SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345
PM MDT MONDAY FOR WEST CENTRAL LEWIS AND CLARK COUNTY...

* As of noon MDT Saturday, automated rain gauges indicated that 0.5
to 0.75 inches of rain had fallen across the Lincoln valley area
over the past 72 hours, with upwards of 1 inch falling in the
  mountains.

* This rainfall, combined with increased snowmelt runoff due to
warming temperatures this week, will continue the flooding threat
  in the Lincoln Valley.

* Water levels may rise further over the next couple of days as the
recent rain works its way into local creeks. You are urged to be
prepared to take appropriate action should floodwaters threaten
  life or property.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lincoln.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
