Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
255 PM EDT Fri Apr 20 2018

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will continue building east across
the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic regions into Sunday morning.
Lighter breezes, mostly clear skies and low atmospheric moisture
are expected through the daytime Saturday, with increasing
low-level moisture beginning late Saturday night.

The nighttime inversion will develop around 8 PM this evening,
and persist until around 9 AM. Poor dispersion is expected.

Fog potential for tonight: Little or no fog is expected due to
the dry air mass and weak low-level mixing.

Surface winds Saturday will be from the east-northeast around
5 mph after daybreak, then become east at 5 to 10 mph by late
morning. Transport winds will become east around 10 mph.
Relative humidities will drop to around 25 percent.
