Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms across northeast
Montana, central and eastern South Dakota, North Dakota, and
Minnesota on Thursday. Some storms may become severe across the
central and eastern Dakotas and Minnesota Thursday afternoon, with
large hail in excess of 1 inch and damaging wind gusts in excess
of 60 mph. High temperatures on Thursday will generally be in the
80s across the region.

Expect well above average temperatures across the region through
Memorial Day weekend, with most spots warming up into the upper
80s to mid 90s Friday through Sunday.

Friday and Saturday look mainly dry in addition to the well above
average temperatures. Chances for showers and storms return
Sunday through Memorial Day across the Northern Plains.
