  mid-line of lake....
  Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI...
  New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 539 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 nm northwest of
  New Buffalo, or 12 nm north of Michigan City, moving northeast at
  35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  New Buffalo and Michigan City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for northwestern
Indiana...southwestern Michigan...and the adjacent waters of Lake
