...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SHERIDAN...
NORTHEASTERN GOVE AND SOUTHWESTERN GRAHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM
CDT...

At 729 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northeast of Park, or 7 miles north of Quinter, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. Grainfield fire department also reported
         street flooding ongoing in Grainfield.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Sheridan, northeastern Gove and southwestern Graham Counties,
including the following locations... Saint Peter, Studley, and
Penokee.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 94 and
106.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.
