...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM MDT
SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to 6 AM MDT
Sunday.

* LOCATION...Santa Fe Metro Area as well the Middle Rio Grande
  Valley, including the Albuquerque Metro Area.

* WINDS...East to southeast 25 to 40 mph with gusts to around 45
  or 50 mph. These strongest winds are most likely between
  Interstate 25 and the foothills of the Sandia and Manzano
  mountains. Winds in the Albuquerque Metro west of the Rio Grande
  to the West Mesa are not expected to be quite as strong.

* TIMING...Strong and gusty winds are expected to develop late
  this evening and persist through early Sunday morning before
  diminishing.

* VISIBILITY...Locally reduced to 3 to 5 miles in blowing dust.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Take action to secure trash cans, lawn
  furniture, and other loose or lightweight outdoor objects.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should exercise caution while travelling. Sudden gusts
of wind may cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Extra
attention should be given to cross winds.
