...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN UNION COUNTY THROUGH 400
PM MDT...

At 333 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 17 miles south of Kim to 10 miles south of Des
Moines. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grenville and Clayton Lake State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northeastern New Mexico.
