...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL HAMILTON AND
NORTHEASTERN HERKIMER COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM EDT...

At 1252 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Limekiln Lake Campground, or 13 miles southeast of Old
Forge, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Indian Lake, Speculator, Lewey Lake Campground, Caswell Lake, Sled
Harbor, Sabael, Perkins Clearing, West Canada Lakes, and Herkimer
Landing.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
