...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 356 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sandisfield, or 14 miles east of Great Barrington, moving east at 55
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Otis, Sandisfield, Monterey, South Sandisfield, Otis Wood Lanes,
Konkapot, New Boston, Algerie Four Corners, North Otis, Montville,
Free Quarter, Roosterville, Hephzibah Heights, West New Boston, East
Otis, Cold Spring, and West Otis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
