...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTY
THROUGH 530 PM CDT...

At 502 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hope Hull, or 9 miles southwest of Montgomery, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southeastern Montgomery, Pike Road, Snowdoun, Hyundai Motors Of
Alabama, Pinedale, Waugh, Hope Hull, Pintlala, Mount Meigs, Carters
Hill, Cecil, and Barachias.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
