This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Connecticut, all of
Massachusetts east of Berkshire County, and Rhode Island.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is a risk of freezing drizzle or light freezing rain Saturday
night into early Sunday morning across interior Massachusetts north
of the Mass Pike. There is even a low risk of freezing rain across
far northern Massachusetts for a time Sunday evening. Winter Weather
Advisories may be needed for a time or two this weekend.

Bands of heavy rain may cause localized street flooding on Monday.
Strong southerly wind gusts are possible Monday afternoon,
especially across Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts, and there
is a risk that a Wind Advisory may be needed for some of the area.

Rain and snowmelt across the headwaters may result in significant
rises of the Connecticut River during next week with a risk of
approaching or exceeding flood stage.

and Rhode Island coastal waters.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Conditions may quickly become hazardous for some small craft during
the day on Saturday with a shift in the wind to be from the
northeast
and gusts to 25 knots. Waves up to 5 feet may approach the Boston
Harbor entrance and the northern portion of Cape Cod Bay.

There is a risk of southerly gale force gusts during Monday
afternoon.
