At 239 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Royalston to near Ware. Movement was east at 20 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph will accompany these storms, frequent cloud to ground lightning along with heavy rain and localized minor flooding. Locations impacted include... Orange, Gardner, Belchertown, Spencer, Athol, Winchendon, Ware, Templeton, Rutland, Ashburnham, Barre, North Brookfield, Hubbardston, West Brookfield, Hardwick, Oakham, Phillipston, Royalston, Petersham and New Braintree.
