...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL LANCASTER COUNTY...

At 521 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Buford, or 11
miles east of Lancaster, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotter reported 2 inch hail in the city of
         Lancaster.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include...
Elgin, Buford, Unity Fire Station, Camp Creek Fire Station, Antioch,
Bear Creek Park, and Kirk Air Base.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
