MEZ001>006-230730-
Northwest Aroostook-Northeast Aroostook-Northern Somerset-
Northern Piscataquis-Northern Penobscot-Southeast Aroostook-
328 AM EDT Sun Apr 22 2018

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for East Central Maine, Far
Northern Maine, North Central Maine, Northern Maine and West
Central Maine.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Warmer weather early this week will lead to significant snowmelt and
likely will cause remaining ice to flush out of the Saint John,
Aroostook, and Allagash River basins. This could lead to ice jams.
Anyone with interests along the rivers should remain vigilant. Please
report any flooding to local law enforcement or the National Weather
Service. Due to the snowmelt rivers are expected to be running high
mid to late next week, and we will continue to monitor the situation
closely. Whether there is any flooding will likely depend on how
much rain falls late in the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
