...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PISCATAQUIS AND
CENTRAL AROOSTOOK COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Russel Crossing, or 23 miles southwest of Portage,
moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fish River Lake and Big Machias Lake.
