...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL JIM WELLS AND
NORTHWESTERN KLEBERG COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM CDT...

At 458 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Premont, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kingsville.

This includes US Highway 281 between mile markers 688 and 692.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
