Scattered showers will impact the commonwealth overnight, with
low temperatures generally holding in the 50s.

Thursday will see more widespread showers and thunderstorms
develop as the day progresses. Locally heavy rain and localized
flooding is possible later in the day, along with gusty
southeasterly winds. A few of the storms could become severe as
well, primarily across western Pennsylvania. High temperatures
will range from the low 60s in north-central Pennsylvania to the
low 70s across the far southwest.

A cold front will cross the commonwealth Thursday night, ushering
in cooler temperatures and gusty westerly winds for Friday. There
will be a continued chance of showers as well, although rainfall
amounts on Friday will be much lighter than on Thursday.
