Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
303 PM EDT Sun Apr 14 2024
.DISCUSSION...High pressure will expand across Lower Michigan tonight
and Monday and will sustain dry conditions across the area. Min RH
values are forecast to drop below 40 percent on Monday under mostly
sunny skies. The high will move to the east on Tuesday. A warm front
associated with a low pressure system over the Midwest will bring
the next chance for rain Tuesday night. Showers and a chance of
thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday as the low pressure system
lifts across the northern Great Lakes and drives a cold front across
southern Michigan.
