This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A large storm system will cross through our region tonight and
Tuesday, bringing increasing chances for thunderstorms. Some of
these storms could be strong to severe, especially late tonight. A
Marginal Risk, or level 1 out of 5, remains in effect for parts of
southeast Iowa, west-central Illinois, and northeast Missouri
tonight. The main threat with these storms will be large hail and
frequent lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

The threat for strong to severe storms continues on Tuesday, where
an Enhanced Risk, or level 3 out of 5, has expanded northeastward,
now including areas along and south of a line from Dubuque Iowa
through Galva Illinois. A Slight Risk, or level 2 out of 5,
remains across the remainder of the area Tuesday. All hazards will
be possible.

There may be three rounds of severe thunderstorms. We may see two
rounds in the afternoon and evening, and then one late Tuesday
night and into Wednesday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed early Tuesday morning, and again
Tuesday afternoon and evening. Please report any hail around 1
inch or more.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: North-northeast at 30 to 40 MPH
tonight.
