The main threat will be lightning. Northwest winds of 15 to 20 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH are forecast to develop this morning and continue into Friday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY A storm system is forecast to lift from the Plains into Great Lakes Monday night into Tuesday. This will bring chances for showers and thunderstorms to the area. It is too early to determine the severe threat at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Storms will move south southeast at 10 to 20 MPH. $$ DC
