...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Linn,
southern Buchanan, southwestern Delaware and northeastern Benton
Counties through 1130 PM CDT...

At 1045 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Independence to near Walker to Atkins.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cedar Rapids, Independence, Marion, Hiawatha, Robins, Center Point,
Urbana, Central City, Palo, Shellsburg, Winthrop, Walker, Alburnett,
Coggon, Quasqueton, Ryan, Rowley, Masonville, Toddville, and Troy
Mills.

This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 23 and 46.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
