...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN BUCHANAN...NORTHWESTERN
CLINTON AND NORTHEASTERN PLATTE COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 950 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Camden Point, or near Weston, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
St. Joseph, Leavenworth, Platte City, Weston, Gower, Agency,
Edgerton, Dearborn, Camden Point, Tracy, Easton, Ridgely, Faucett,
and Beverly.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 15 and 45.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 25 and 32.
 Interstate 229 near mile marker 0.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for northeastern
Kansas...and northwestern and west central Missouri.
