No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time. Relative humidity and winds will remain outside of critical thresholds. Additional morning low ceilings as well as areas of fog are expected Saturday morning with the highest potential of dense fog across central Georgia. A few isolated showers are possible overnight tonight into early Saturday morning, but more widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected from late afternoon Saturday in northwest Georgia and spreading southward Saturday night. Minimum RH values on Saturday are forecast primarily in the 45-60 percent range. Winds will be S to SW 6-12 mph Saturday afternoon with gusts 15-20 mph, especially in northwest Georgia. Sunday will bring additional scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, especially across northern and west Georgia. Minimum RH values will range from around 40 percent in far southeastern counties to 80 percent in north Georgia amid widespread rain. Winds will be SW at 5-10 mph.
