.SYNOPSIS...Warm, dry and locally breezy conditions continue
through the end of the week. More unsettled weather and strong winds
will impact the area this weekend and into the start of next week.

&&

.DISCUSSION...A fair and mild day is expected today, with generally
light southwest winds. A few areas may gust up around 20 mph in the
high country, but nothing impactful. Similar conditions on Friday
with maybe a bit more wind, then, things start to turn windy over
the weekend as a strong trough impacts the west.

All details are covered well, no short term updates are needed.

.AVIATION...Thursday 02/18Z through Friday 03/18Z...VFR conditions
will continue through the TAF period, with isolated high clouds
after 21Z. Look for W-SW winds 10-15 kts, gusting near 20 kts
throughout the afternoon. Lighter winds return after 06Z.

OUTLOOK...Friday 03/18Z through Sunday 05/18Z...VFR conditions
will persist through the outlook period, with increasing cloud
cover expected on Sunday. W-SW winds of 5-15 kts forecast for
Friday, before gusty winds return over the weekend. Wind gusts
25-35 kts possible on Saturday, becoming 40-50 kts on Sunday.

.FIRE WEATHER...Today and Friday...Mild temperatures and dry
conditions. Winds west-southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with afternoon
minimum RH around 10-20%.

Saturday through Monday...Cooling temperatures, with mainly dry
conditions outside of stray shower on Sunday over the high terrain.
Southwest winds gusting 30 to 40 mph on Saturday, then increasing to
50 to 60 mph on Sunday. Near critical fire weather conditions are
likely from the Little Colorado River Valley into the Chinle Valley
and Chuska Mountains.
