Due to recent widespread and heavy rainfall along with calming winds
today, patchy to areas of dense fog is possible tonight. The best
locations for dense fog to develop will be along the North Carolina
foothills and the Piedmont areas of North and South Carolina. A dense
fog advisory may be needed overnight.
