COASTAL WATERS FROM STONINGTON ME TO MERRIMACK RIVER MA OUT TO 25 NM
ANZ100-241245-
633 PM EDT Sat Mar 23 2024
.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM
Low pressure crosses into the Gulf of Maine this evening with winds
strengthening to gale force out of the north-northwest as the system
departs overnight. Strong high pressure builds north of the waters
Sunday through the middle of the week, and another low pressure
system remains nearly stationary off the Mid-Atlantic coast,
producing a northeast wind that may approach gale force at times with
brief tightening of the pressure gradient. A front approaches from
the west, then lingers nearby for the middle and end of the week
with increasing chances for rain and fog.
