...A FREEZE LAST NIGHT ENDED THE GROWING SEASON ACROSS MUCH OF
NORTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND THE MOUNTAINS OF MAINE...

The temperature fell to freezing or below in nearly all of
northern New Hampshire and the mountains of Maine this morning.
This most recent widespread freeze brought an end to the growing
season to the following areas:

In New Hampshire
Grafton
Northern Carroll

In Maine
Northern Franklin
Oxford

The National Weather Service will no longer issue FREEZE WARNINGS
or FROST ADVISORIES for these zones this year.

Elsewhere... scattered areas of frost and near freezing
temperatures were reported. For these areas, the National Weather
Service will continue to issue FREEZE WARNINGS and FROST
ADVISORIES until a more widespread freeze occurs.
