.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue over
the next several hours as a weak cold front pushes offshore.
Light to moderate offshore winds will prevail behind the front.
Remnant swell will be slower to fall, warranting Small Craft
Advisories across the Gulf waters tonight. Advisories may be
extended further into Tuesday morning until waves subside enough.
Winds becoming northeasterly on Tuesday, with onshore flow
returning Thursday evening.
