...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi...

  Big Black River Near Bovina affecting Hinds and Warren Counties.

  Big Black River Near Bentonia affecting Madison and Yazoo
  Counties.

  Big Black River At West affecting Holmes and Attala Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Big Black River near Bovina.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 38 feet, water is across the road near the Old
  Highway 80 bridge. Extensive flooding of agricultural land is
  occurring. Several local access roads are also underwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 38.6 feet and nearing
    crest
  - Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 38.7 feet this
    afternoon through early Tuesday.
  - Flood stage is 28 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Big Black River near Bentonia.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 28 feet, devastating flooding of agricultural land
  begins to occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 28.1 feet and nearly
    steady.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain nearly steady
    through tomorrow then begin a very slow fall.
  - Flood stage is 22 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Black River at West.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 19 feet, thousands of acres of agricultural land are
  under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 19.1 feet and falling.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue a steady fall
    over the next few days, falling below 16 feet on Thursday.
  - Flood stage is 15 feet.
