Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron

For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.30 inches, will be centered over
Lake Huron today. This high will weaken as it drifts north
tonight while a warm front, average pressure 29.90 inches, lifts
into the southern Great Lakes from the Ohio Valley. A couple
waves of low pressure are then forecast to track along this front
and across the eastern Great Lakes late tonight into Tuesday.
High pressure will then expand across the Great Lakes region from
the northwest Tuesday night into Wednesday.

in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to
15 knots after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.THURSDAY...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
late in the afternoon...then veering to the southwest late in the
evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. A chance of showers.
Rain showers likely until early morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the east early
in the evening...then becoming northeast 10 to 15 knots in the
late evening and early morning. A chance of showers. A chance of
thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
