For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.10 inches, centered over southern
Lake Michigan this morning, will expand across Lower Michigan
today, strengthening to 30.20 inches. The high will slowly drift
to the eastern Great lakes on Thursday, then to the Mid Atlantic
Thursday night. A cold front will settle into upper Michigan from
the north by Saturday morning. It will hold nearly stationary
while weakening across the northern Great Lakes during the
weekend.

decreasing to 5 to 15 knots late in the morning...then becoming
light and variable in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
in the late evening and overnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...South winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest
10 to 15 knots after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms early in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the south in
the late morning and early afternoon...then backing to the south
5 to 10 knots early in the evening veering to the east in the
late evening and early morning. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms early in the morning. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
