.DISCUSSION...
The forecast continues to call for gusty north to northeast winds,
although with peak speeds somewhat reduced compared to earlier
forecasts. Peak 20-ft gusts will be up to 20 mph Wednesday
afternoon, with 25 mph gusts over the nearby ridges. Winds will
increase some overnight into early Thursday, then subside some
Thursday afternoon. Humidities are still expected to trend drier
through Thursday, with minimum humidities dropping into the mid to
upper teens. Recoveries Wednesday night will be fair, near 45
percent. However, there is a 30 percent chance of lower recoveries,
between 35 to 40 percent.
