For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 inch low tracking into James Bay is dragging
its associated 29.7 inch trough out of Lake Superior this morning.
In its wake, a 30.2 inch high pressure over western Hudson Bay
extends a 29.9 inch ridge into the Northern Plains and Upper
Mississippi Valley today. This ridge builds to 30.0 inches tonight
as it moves over Lake Superior; the ridging remains over Lake
Superior until Wednesday night. Meanwhile, a 29.7 inch trough
emerging over the Northern Plains on Tuesday weakens to 29.8
inches as it shifts to the Upper Mississippi Valley during
Wednesday night and Thursday. The trough deepens to 29.7 inches
over Lake Superior Thursday night and remains through Friday.
