.NOW...
Through 2 am...scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
continue to affect the southern Texas Panhandle and central and
northern Rolling Plains. At 1 am, a broken line of showers
stretched from near Childress to Cee Vee and Dumont, with
additional showers near and north of Happy. The individual cells
were racing northeastward around 60 mph, while the line was moving
eastward around 30 mph. Brief downpours, gusty winds to 45 mph,
and a few rumbles of thunder will be possible with the strongest
activity. Rain amounts will be light, ranging from a couple of
hundredths to a tenth of an inch.
