Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue to increase in
coverage and intensity across the northern Rolling Plains,
extreme southeastern Texas Panhandle, and the central South Plains.
The stronger activity will be capable of hail to the size of
nickels and wind gusts to 50 mph as it moves northeast near 20
mph.

A threat of more widespread severe weather continues this
afternoon.
