Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase in
coverage and intensity across the southeastern Texas Panhandle,
northeastern South Plains, and northern Rolling Plains. The
stronger storms will be capable of wind gusts to 50 mph along with
nickel size hail. This activity is moving northeast near 20 mph.

Severe thunderstorm development is possible this afternoon.
