Through 1 am, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to
affect the extreme southeastern Texas Panhandle. The greatest
amount of activity will be in Childress County. The strongest
storms will be capable of producing brief downpours, cloud to
ground lightning, and wind gusts to 45 mph. Additional rainfall
totals up to a tenth of an inch will be common with localized
quarter inch amounts.
