Showers and thunderstorms were spreading east-northeast at 25 mph
from eastern New Mexico into the western South Plains and extreme
southwest Texas Panhandle early this morning. Thunderstorms will
move as far east as Dimmitt, Earth, Muleshoe, Friona, Bledsoe, and
Bovina by 3 am. Rainfall totals from a tenth to a quarter inch are
expected, and some areas will receive small hail and locally gusty
winds.
