.Discussion...High pressure will continue its stronghold this
upcoming week with the east coast sea breeze forecast to develop
and push inland through Wednesday. The sea breeze collision will
occur across the western interior and into the western portion of
the peninsula later this afternoon, then shift a little eastward
across our interior on Monday. Isolated to scattered showers and
isolated lightning storms are forecast each afternoon through Tuesday
along the sea breeze, mainly west of I-95, and at the sea breeze
collision. Isolated morning showers will be possible along the coast
in the onshore flow. Winds will increase to 10-15 KT behind the sea
breeze with gusts up to 20 KT possible. Min RH values will be near
40 percent over the interior and hold near 55 percent along the coast
through Tuesday. Smoke dispersion values will be Generally Good to
Very Good early next week.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
