(Today and Tonight)... A closed upper low continues to rotate across the TN valley region this morning, with bands of light/moderate showers streaming through. As for the fcst, still looking like a slow eastward progression of the most coverage of showers into the afternoon with pops peaking across extreme NE TN and SW VA late this afternoon. Otherwise, pops will remain in the change/likely range to the west, however lowering as the entire complex shifts eastward. Given steep lapse rates there will be a chance for a few thunderstorms this afternoon, with small hail and heavy rainfall being the primary threats. .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
