.DISCUSSION...Moisture is gradually increasing across the Southern
Appalachian region this evening with a low, broken alto cu layer
advancing north across Alabama and Georgia in response to the
eastward shifting Southern Plains low. The slight chance pop still
appears to be in order for Southeast Tennessee toward daybreak.
Temperatures are trending on track for current forecast lows with
the mildest mins expected under the broken alto cu layer over
Southeast Tennessee, and the cooler mins farther north where
downslope flow should keep the alto cu deck a little more
scattered in nature. Current forecast on track.
