Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Mainly fresh SE winds will prevail across much of
the Gulf through tonight, ahead of a cold front slowly
approaching from the northwest. The cold front will move off the
Texas coast into the northwest Gulf Fri and move southeast,
stall from south Texas to the Straits of Florida on Sun, then
weaken and drift northward.

.FRI...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.FRI NIGHT...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered

.SAT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.SAT NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NE 5 to 10 kt

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from high pressure centered  near
30N35W westward into central Florida will shift slowly  eastward
through Sat, ahead of a cold front approaching from the
northwest. The front will move off the northeast Florida coast
Fri night, then weaken as it moves east, reaching from Bermuda to
the central Bahamas by late Sat night. Winds and seas will
diminish into Mon as the dissipating front continues to drift east
of the area, and high pressure builds between the Carolinas and
Bermuda in the wake of front. Looking ahead, SE winds will
increase and seas will build late Mon through Tue night off
northeast Florida and north of the Bahamas, as the high pressure
shifts eastward ahead of the next weak front moving into the
southeastern United States.

27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.FRI...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N of 27N.
