Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the N Gulf is supporting mainly
gentle to moderate E winds in the NE half of the Gulf, and
moderate to fresh SE winds in the SW half of the Gulf through
Thu. The pressure gradient will tighten over the Gulf starting
on Fri, increasing E to SE winds to fresh to strong across the
whole basin through Sun.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.WED...E winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.WED NIGHT AND THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.THU THROUGH SUN...SE winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.

Gulf of Mexico from 22N to 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.TONIGHT...E winds less than 10 kt within 60 nm of coast of
Veracruz, and NE 10 to 20 kt elsewhere. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.WED...Within 60 nm of coast of Veracruz, E winds less than
10 kt in the morning, becoming variable winds less than 10 kt.
