.DISCUSSION...

After a very cold morning with patchy dense freezing fog this
morning, much milder temperatures are expected the rest of the week
into the weekend with highs in the 40s and 50s and lows in the 30s
and 40s. Rain will return into western areas Wednesday night and
Thursday before spreading over all of Middle Tennessee Thursday night
and continuing through Saturday. Total rainfall amounts are forecast
to range from one half inch to one and a half inches. Cooler and
drier conditions will return from Sunday into the first part of next
week.
