Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
336 PM EDT Tue Apr 17 2018

Clouds will gradually decrease through the overnight hours as low
pressure continues to pull away from the region. After overnight
lows in the low to mid 30s, temperatures on Wednesday will rise
into the low to mid 50s with plenty of sunshine.

Clouds will increase again Wednesday night as another area of low
pressure approaches the region from the west. Rain will begin to
overspread the area late Wednesday night and continue through much
of the day on Thursday as the low passes over the region. Highs on
Thursday will range from the upper 40s across portions of the
lower Hudson Valley and interior southern Connecticut to the mid
50s across Long Island and the New York City metro area. These
temperatures continue to run 5 to 10 degrees below normal for mid
April.
