...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL UNION AND ESSEX
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 641 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
East Hanover, or near Caldwell, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Bloomfield, Orange, Millburn, Caldwell, Fairfield, Union, East
Orange, Irvington, West Orange, Montclair, Belleville, Livingston,
Nutley, Maplewood, and Hillside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
