.DISCUSSION...
Winds are forecast to diminish toward and after sunset and become more due
north this evening. Veering to northeasterly after midnight and slowly become
easterly by tomorrow afternoon with mainly light wind speeds. Steep and
shallow inversion is expected over burn site Thursday morning. Southeast wind
will increase Thursday night and especially on Friday with gusts 20 to 30 mph
expected. Humidity level will also be higher with minimum values expected to
range 30 to 40 percent. Rain still appears likely Friday night and Saturday
with rain totals by early Sunday of one-half to about one inch possible. Winds
will turn northerly Saturday night and Sunday and occasional shifts are
expected through next week. However, speeds are not expected to be excessive.
