********* PITTSBURGH MONTHLY SUMMARY **********

The PITTSBURGH PA climate summary for the month of April, 2018.  The
maximum temperature for the period was 83.  The record maximum
temperature is 90 degrees which was last set in 1925.  The minimum
temperature was 24.  The record minimum temperature is 11 degrees
which was set in 1923.  The average temperature was 46.3 degrees
which is 4.6 degrees below the normal average temperature of 50.9
degrees.  The maximum temperature did not exceed 90 degrees.  The
minimum temperature dropped below 32 degrees on 14 days this period.
 A total of 4.43 inches of precipitation fell during the period
which is 1.32 inches above the normal amount of 3.11.  16 days with
greater than or equal to 0.01 inches of precipitation were observed.
 0.10 inches of precipitation or greater fell on 11 days.  0.50
inches of precipitation or greater were observed on 2 days.  2 days
with greater than or equal to 1.00 inches of precipitation were
observed.  The maximum 24 hour precipitation was 1.20 inches on
April 3.  The average daily precipitation for the period was 0.15

record minimum temperature is 20 degrees which was set in 2016.  The
average temperature was 47.1 degrees which is 4.4 degrees below the
normal average temperature of 51.5 degrees.  The maximum temperature
did not exceed 90 degrees.  The minimum temperature dropped below 32
degrees on 15 days this period.  A total of 5.82 inches of
precipitation fell during the period which is 2.38 inches above the
normal amount of 3.44.  14 days with greater than or equal to 0.01
inches of precipitation were observed.  0.10 inches of precipitation
