Hydrologic Statement
National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA
1120 AM EDT Mon Apr 15 2019

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Observed precipitation values within the 24 hour period
ranged from 0.75 to 2.00 inches, with highest amounts occuring
in northern counties within the Allegheny basin.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from 0.10 to 0.25 inches. The majority of forecast rainfall
is expected to occur in the later part of the 48 hour period.

River trends...
District river levels have risen in response to recent rainfall as
expected. However, observed precipitation values were slightly higher
than forecasted, thus several locations are nearing or forecast
to reach Action Stage this week, including the Ohio River at Pittsburgh.
